Me - right now - emailing you
Family.

Loved talking to you guys. So much. Your voices are the best. I was so happy and uplifted and motivated to keep working and trying and doing my best. Like Eric said, focusing on the Savior makes everything work out and helps us along our personal process of conversion.

We are doing super well and I am so happy to be here with Hermana Gonzalez. She is such a sweetheart. The Lord is putting miracles in our path and we found a new little family of a mom and 2 daughters this week that are super positive. The mom is named Imelda and she wants to prepare to be baptized. She doesn´t necessarily want to commit to anything right now but we will keep praying. Her daughter, Yasari, is so excited about everything. They got work off, came to all 3 hours of church, and then we had a little lunch with the Relief Society president and she helped one of the daughters get going on her Faith In God for the primary. The first lesson we had with them really was such a powerful experience. We contacted them in the street and when we went back we talked about the importance of prophets and the Book of Mormon and then had to go but the Spirit was so strong. And hna Gonzalez promised Imelda that if she talked to her boss and got off work that the Lord would bless her with food and all that she needed. She looked into our eyes and started crying and said ¨I trust God. I know He will provide. I want to follow Him.¨ It was very sweet. I love that family.

I love that it says in Jacob 1:7- ¨Wherefore we labored diligently among our people, that we might persuade them to come unto Christ, and partake of the goodness of God, that they might enter into his rest...¨ That is all I want that. That these precious people can rest from their cares and sins and have peace in their families. So grateful that the is exactly what the gospel does for us.

The day after Elder Clark came and talked to us about being bold and declaring the gospel before the world, I stood up in front of the bus on the way to Huehue and told everyone that we were missionaries with a special message that would change their lives. I explained a little bit about the Restoration and then we passed out a ton of folletos and little cards from the church with the Internet sites and the articles of faith and such. I think that gave me a new energy and excitement to talk to everyone. We really are preparing the world for the coming of the Lord. I love how Preach My Gospel starts off in English-

You are surrounded by people. You pass them on the street, visit them in their homes, and travel among them. All of them are children of God, your brothers and sisters. God loves them just as He loves you. Many of these people are searching for purpose in life. They are concerned for their families. They need the sense of belonging that comes from the knowledge that they are children of God, members of His eternal family. They want to feel secure in a world of changing values. They want “peace in this world, and eternal life in the world to come” (D&C 59:23), but they are “kept from the truth because they know not where to find it” (D&C 123:12).
The gospel of Jesus Christ as restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith will bless their families, meet their spiritual needs, and help them fulfill their deepest desires...
As an authorized representative of Jesus Christ, you can teach people with power and authority that “redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah,” and that no one “can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah” (2 Nephi 2:6, 8). As people come to accept the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and receive the ordinances of baptism and confirmation by priesthood authority, they can be assured that they “are not cast off forever” (Book of Mormon, Title Page).
As your understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ grows, your desire to share the gospel will increase. You will feel, as Lehi did, the “great … importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth” (2 Nephi 2:8).
I love that! It is so true! The gospel is exactly what all of us need. No matter what your sickness, worry, problem, trial is... the gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer. We found another investigator this week named William and he is super cool. After teaching the Restoration I asked him why it would be important for him to know if these things are true. He said ¨Because I don´t want to live my whole life thinking I am doing what is right when God really has something else prepared for me.¨ I love that. Our deepest and most sincere desires can be our real life if we choose to follow Jesus Christ and seek to understand His precious and priceless atonement. I love studying the Christlike attributes sections. I love it because that is who He is! It is not a list of a few things that look good in the eyes of the world. Patience, kindness, love, purity, diligence... it all describes the character of our blessed brother, Jesus Christ.
We will do all we can to magnify our office to be found spotless before the Lord (Jacob 1:19). I want to work harder. I want to do more. Simply because I feel the importance of this work. No one else can do it. The time is so short and we must do all we can!
D&C 11:20 Behold, this is your work, to keep my commandments, yea, with all your might, mind and strength.
It is all worth it :) Immersing yourself in the work of the Lord brings nothing but eternal peace and happiness. I´m sure of it. I love you SO much. So so much! Have such a wonderful week.
